 Description: The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing and compounding medication, counseling patients on medication and health subjects, interpreting prescriptions, managing patient drug therapy for complications, and performing drug utilization. The selected candidate will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare practitioners to provide safe, high quality, and cost-effective drug therapy.

 To qualify, you must have a BS or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution, a current Ohio pharmacist license, and completion of a Pharmacy Practice residency or equivalent experience. Previous hospital pharmacy experience is preferred.

Description: West Branch Regional Medical Center is currently looking for a Director of Pharmacy. Located on 44 acres of rolling countryside south of West Branch, Michigan.  West Branch Regional Medical Center is the cornerstone of medical services in Ogemaw and the surrounding counties.  While considered a rural hospital by most standards, this NEW 88 bed State-of-the-Art, Acute-Care medical facility has added many new services to stay on track with its mission – “to be the preferred health center through service and excellence.”  Some of the expanded services include: Heart catherization, cardiac rehabilitation, cancer care, plastic and reconstructive surgery and Magnetic Resonance Imaging the pain clinic, increased rehabilitation services and a pediatric surgery orientation program.  West Branch Regional Medical Center is still growing it’s progressive environment has drawn many new physicians, health care professionals and patients to the region.  Pharmacy Hours of operation are 7am-7:30pm Monday – Sunday.

Clinical Hospital Position October 23rd, 2009
