Description: Full time Staff Pharmacist at O’Bleness Memorial Hospital located in Athens, Ohio.

O’Bleness Memorial Hospital is a not-for-profit, acute care hospital proving healthcare services to the residents of Southeastern Ohio since 1921.  The facility maintains an adhesion Clinic, Cath Lab and an OB department. The Hospital is licensed for 64 beds, and much of space has undergone renovations.   The pharmacy department enjoys a great working environment and a collaborative working relationship with the Nurses, Doctors and other medical staff to provide the highest level of patient care.

Along with the many intangible benefits to working with this small community hospital, there is a Comprehensive employee Benefits package, and salary.  The pharmacy hours of operation are M-Fri. 7:00am-7pm, reduced hours on weekends and Holidays.

Staff Pharmacist September 30th, 2009


Position: Staff Pharmacist

Description: We are looking for a Part time Staff Pharmacist to work a flexible schedule of 24 hours a week at Grace Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. Grace Hospital is a Cleveland Clinic affiliate that was that first certified Long Term Acute Care Facility in Cuyahoga County. The average patient length of stay is around 28 days and since there is such a need for a well coordinated level of care over a period of time, Grace Hospital is the first choice for patient care. The main pharmacy department at Grace Hospital also services the other 3 locations in Lakewood, Huron, and Fairview.  Job duties for a Part time Staff Pharmacist would include dispensing, cart fill, and working alongside the many residency students that Grace teaches.

Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 8-5:30pm. Weekends from 8-3pm.

Description: Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center is a 305 bed Psychiatric facility continuously strives to provide the highest quality psychiatric evaluation and treatment services.  Their teams of mental health professionals work with patients, families and referral sources to provide psychiatric care and linkage for the most appropriate aftercare. 

Pharmacy Systems, Inc. manages the Pharmacy at SMMHC.  As a Pharmacy Systems, Inc. Director of Pharmacy September 30th, 2009


Position: Director of Pharmacy

Description: We are currently seeking a Director of Pharmacy at Community Health Center of Branch County in Coldwater, Michigan.  The hospital is a 102 bed, full service facility that has been serving residents of Branch County for over 70 years! Services include 24-hour physician staffed emergency room, a critical care unit, cardiopulmonary and respiratory care, surgical services,  as well as a full range of outpatient laboratory and radiology services.

The Director of Pharmacy is responsible for strategic planning of the department’s services which include inpatient, outpatient, employee prescriptions, and a separate chemotherapy infusion center. The average census of Community Health Center of Branch County is around 40-50 patients. The pharmacy is USP 797 compliant and recently received JCAHO accreditation. This position is a Monday through Friday management position which could involve emergency staffing support if needed but it is not currently required.

Set your own schedule! Hours of op: M-F 6am-10pm. Weekends 7:30am-6pm

  • Completing projects and assignments at new and existing client hospitals within an established scope and timeline of the project.
  • May serve as an Interim Director of Pharmacy or Staff Pharmacist at new and existing accounts.
  • Visits with management personnel at prospective client hospitals with the purpose of selling management services.
  • Assists in efforts to recruit permanent staff at new accounts.

Specialty Pharmacist September 25th, 2009


Position: Specialty Pharmacist

 Description: This pharmacist working with an initial team of five must be able to facilitate, operate, and launch the start of this newly created specialty pharmacy.  This is a very high-touch role dealing with critical care medication therapy.  The pharmacist will focus on front-end support, patient and Doctor consultations, and recommendations.  Must have specialty pharmacy knowledge of medications for disease and illness such as multiple sclerosis, hepatitis-C, rheumatoid arthritis, oncology, growth hormones.  Department will likely grow as this operation expands.  The candidate must be a team player – this is more of a “start-up” type business than a “retail pharmacy.”  Ground floor opportunity within a high growth market.  Daytime shift, pharmacy hours are 8AM – 8PM. Shift will be eight hours within that time frame.  On call one week per month, on call consists of carrying pager/blackberry device to provide question and answers (consultation); no on-site duties.

 Experience Required: Ohio license required; prior specialty pharmacy experience required; no exceptions, ideally three years.
